hello friends I am back once again to share my endless knowledge of the good city of Laurel Miss. This lovely little school situated smack dab in the recesses of the quote unquote hood and is for elementary age students only If im not mistaken. Other than that your children will have a lot to look forward to if you choose to put them here. This is a kind of different school with a different way of approaching learning. From what iv been told by one of the teachers daughters its basically an art school but it also teaches other basic things like math and English. The children are encouraged to learn by being almost tricked into thinking that what they are learning is not boring but rather games and arts and crafts. This is a good thing. I would be an intelligent person today if I would have been tricked in some way to learn at an early age. 5 stars for these guys because anyone who tries to help teach the kids better than the seemingly ineffective "normal" schools gets 100% of my approval.

The quality of teachers at Nora Davis Magnet School is something to be commended often and LOUDLY! NDMS is consistently head and shoulders above other schools in the district and region. The whole schools initiative and arts integration when put into action results in well-rounded students who learn beyond test-taking skills. At NDMS, education comes first!
