I can't speak highly enough about this dealership! My wife and I were traveling through Mississippi. We stopped in Laurel for some supper, took out our bedroom slide, then accidentally didn't push a drawer all the way in before closing it. The drawer snagged the slide, popped it off the track, and broke the crankshaft that spins the gear.
When I looked at it I started seeing dollar bills. Our RV is a 2004. I thought the whole mechanism would need to be replaced, and it might have to be custom made due to the RV being so old.
Awesome sales and service! Great staff! Should be your first choice for RV service and if you're looking for a new camper!
Had an amazing experience. We broke down last Saturday around 6pm at the rest area just north of exit 104. Good Sam was no help and even Progressive Insurance couldn't help. We searched the area and found this place then waited until Monday when they opened to request their services. We thought it was a wheel bearing and ended up being just a stuck break pad. An hour later after we arrived at their shop, the issue was fixed and we were on our way to Kentucky. They were honest and extremely professional. We highly recommend them. After being stuck in that rest area for a day and a half it was nice to know that there is still good people out there! Kudos.
This place is the BEST!! We travel the country and have many choices, but we always set aside time (& $) to stop by Break A Way, to get proper maintenance (bearings & brakes) work done along with any lil "fixits" needed. The staff is always friendly and professional. Prices are fair and reasonable. And unlike most smaller shops, they service Airstreams!!
Break-A-Way serviced our motor home for us and went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied. They are my go-to for parts and accessories as well! Highly recommended!
They also have a small RV park in the back (full hookups) for $15 per night. If you're passing through and need a place to stop, or you need any maintenance done, then I encourage you to check these guys out.
We've been to lots of dealerships and I've never had any of them do something like that.
We tied our slide shut (yes, with a rope) and limped 10 miles to Break-A-Way. The took the crankshaft out, brought it to a local machinist who custom made a new one, and had us back on our way the next morning! It cost us 1/2 hour labor plus what the machinist charged to make the part.
